A New Adventure

Here I am, starting out on a personal, single-contributor blog. I've been working with graphic design in several forms for about five years and LOVE IT! I've got some t-shirt screen printing design under my belt, as well as design for embroidery of corporate apparel, and most recently have been working with sign making. I'm home-bound with my ventures, but have the equipment and capability of being a fully functional commercial sign business, I just lack the sales and marketing desires - I LOVE CREATING. But, sometimes I like to get suggestions and feedback from others regarding designs.
The logo for this blog is the perfect example. I've been working on a logo to use as a header for some time, and have narrowed it down to three, but would love your responses.



That's the one thing I hate about the arts; very subjective. I grew up swimming competitively and found I much preferred racing a clock rather than being judged on my performance. From my experiences in art, there's no right or wrong. I have LOVED designs I've created, and the customer reviews them and decides none of the designs impress them so I'm forced to start completely over. If there one thing I love as much as creating, it's pleasing people. So, I have no problem starting fresh and revising and modifying and changing until the customer LOVES the design for them.
I look forward to getting your feedback and suggestions so please don't hold back. Responses stating what you DON'T like are just as important as those indicating what you DO like.
Another purpose for creating this blog is to generate some income. Like I mentioned previously, I have had a vinyl cutter in my home for more than two years (the one I have currently is capable of cutting up to 60"), and recently added to the possibilities by receiving a 48" digital printer and 54" cold laminater. There are so many possibilities! So I look for others who are interested in vinyl lettering for home decor and for vehicles, vehicle magnets, school and club fund raisers, and so on and etc. There are so many possibilities.
I intend to post designs, either completed or looking for feedback, and for the most part all designs will be available for purchase so please let me know if you're interested! Thanks!

*okay, so I can't get the images to work well. I'll have to work on that. I have been trying and don't know if it's the program I use to create the designs, or Blogger. However, I've noticed people are starting to visit so I thought I'd post anyway, now that it's the 15th of September.
