Autumn Turkey, 11"x9.5", $29.50

This turkey is a five-color design. With very few points where the colors make contact with others, it will be less difficult to align. I LOVE the colors in it, and their display, but can't get his eyes to look less evil. Do you agree?
I've put this on a 13" square ceramic tile.

Etching possibilities

With vinyl, I can create adhesive stencils to be used for glass etching (with cream) or sand blasting (which requires a lot more equipment). To etch with cream would be considered a home craft because you just apply the cream with a small brush or cotton swab. If you have further interest, please let me know and I'll get more specific about the detials. Here's a few samples of what I've done:

These are two elegant glasses (from two separate sets) used as wedding gifts (or for the bride and groom toast). It contains the first names and the wedding date.

The following is a single votive candle holder. On each side is an image representing each of the four seasons; snowflake for winter, flower for spring, watermelon for summer, and leaf for autumn. If you don't want all images on the same holder, some can be left off.

This is a salad plate that I gave to friends containing baked good for Easter.

This... is my favorite, and something I'm very proud of! I show it off at every opportunity I have. I worked very hard and am so pleased with the way it turned out! It is a blue glass platter, about 14" in diameter. I sand-blasted snowflakes on the front and back of the plate to create a bit of a 3-dimensional look. The snowflakes that appear white/light gray are on the front, and those that are darker are on the back. I LOVE IT!

Front Door decor

I found this quote today and can't stop smiling! It illustrates EXACTLY how I feel about this time of year. I L-O-V-E the fall season, and everything pumpkin-flavored, and the cooler weather, and the leaves changing, and the crisp sound of stepping on fallen leaves, and the calm before the storm (of the holidays), and feel of the seasons changing, and the break from the summer heat, and fall rain storms and so much more about this transition! After reading this quote, I realized what most people must feel in the spring after the winter storms. The quote by Albert Camus reads, "Autumn is a second spring when every leaf is a flower."

I decided this would be the perfect decor to put on my front door. I have a couple purposes in doing this. I've made a goal to post one design (of varying themes) a day from now until the end of the year; and, I better try out sticking vinyl on places I tell people you can so I can answer the questions "Does it come off okay?" and "Does it damage the surface?" So, I'll let you know in a couple months :).

A few Fall blocks

These are a couple of decorations I created using glass blocks you can find at The Home Depot (although their selection is diminishing) or Lowe's. It is very simple to apply vinyl to the front and tie a ribbon around the perimeter. If desired (and you have the means available) it is possible to drill a hole in the back in order to put a strand of lights inside. I have friends who specialize in lighted, glass blocks. You can find more of Debbie and Helen's products here. They do a wonderful job!
I hope you're enjoying the fall season as much as I am!
