Etching possibilities

With vinyl, I can create adhesive stencils to be used for glass etching (with cream) or sand blasting (which requires a lot more equipment). To etch with cream would be considered a home craft because you just apply the cream with a small brush or cotton swab. If you have further interest, please let me know and I'll get more specific about the detials. Here's a few samples of what I've done:

These are two elegant glasses (from two separate sets) used as wedding gifts (or for the bride and groom toast). It contains the first names and the wedding date.

The following is a single votive candle holder. On each side is an image representing each of the four seasons; snowflake for winter, flower for spring, watermelon for summer, and leaf for autumn. If you don't want all images on the same holder, some can be left off.

This is a salad plate that I gave to friends containing baked good for Easter.

This... is my favorite, and something I'm very proud of! I show it off at every opportunity I have. I worked very hard and am so pleased with the way it turned out! It is a blue glass platter, about 14" in diameter. I sand-blasted snowflakes on the front and back of the plate to create a bit of a 3-dimensional look. The snowflakes that appear white/light gray are on the front, and those that are darker are on the back. I LOVE IT!
